Prezent raises $20M to bring contextually intelligent AI to enterprise business communication

Prezent raises $20M to revolutionize enterprise communication with AI-powered presentations.

Business communication is broken.

Every week, I speak with enterprise leaders who echo the same frustration: their teams are drowning in decks, struggling to articulate ideas clearly, and spending far too much time making presentations look “good enough.” These aren’t minor inefficiencies—they’re barriers to growth, clarity, and alignment.

That’s why I’m thrilled to share that Prezent has raised an additional $20 million in funding to accelerate our mission of democratizing great business communication across industries and geographies.

This round includes new investment from True Global Ventures (TGV), Manulife Ventures, and Alumni Ventures, with continued support from Greycroft Ventures, Zoom Ventures, Emergent Ventures, and WestWave Capital—bringing our total funding to $45 million.

And it comes at the perfect time—we’ve just introduced something we believe will fundamentally change how enterprises communicate: Astrid, the world’s first 3-in-1 AI presentation agent.

The communication gap is costing enterprises billions

Here’s the reality: 96% of business leaders agree that effective communication is essential to delivering results. Yet 75% say their teams struggle with it.

That disconnect costs companies dearly. Employee disengagement and attrition from poor communication can cost a median-size S&P 500 company between $228M and $355M a year in lost productivity. In total, U.S. businesses may lose up to $1.2 trillion annually to business communication breakdowns.

For years, enterprises have turned to consultants, agencies, and coaches to solve this problem—but those solutions are expensive, time-consuming, and out of reach for most teams.

More recently, teams have been turning to AI tools as a faster, more scalable solution to the problem. But, most AI tools on the market today don’t meet enterprise communication needs.

Why most AI communication tools fall short for the enterprise

Today’s general-purpose LLMs and AI models generate content based on patterns in massive datasets—but they miss what matters most in business communication: context.

AI for enterprise presentations can’t get by on just surface-level facts. To be effective, it needs a deeper understanding of your industry, function, company, team, and even individual preferences.

A patient journey presentation for a Medical Affairs leader in a life sciences company is nothing like a product launch deck for a VP of Marketing at a tech company. The tone, data, visuals, and storylines are completely different—and generic AI can’t make that distinction.

We built Astrid to change that.

Meet Astrid: A 3-in-1 AI presentation agent built for enterprise impact

Unlike generic AI tools that produce robotic, one-size-fits-all outputs, Astrid is built with Contextual Intelligence—our proprietary approach that powers precise, relevant, and impactful communication.

Astrid acts as a:

  • Management consultant—turning research & internal files into decision-making insights.
  • Communication expert—creating compelling narratives in your team’s tone of voice.
  • Visual designer—delivering stunning, on-brand slides effortlessly.

So, how does Astrid pull this off?

It’s built on three foundational components:

  1. Industry-based Specialized Presentations Models (SPMs) that capture the knowledge, lingo and layouts of each industry. This means a biopharma presentation will accurately incorporate industry factoids and industry specific visualizations, like the Kaplan-Meier curve.
  2. A multi-agentic framework to understand audience empathy, storylines, layouts and brand alignment for presentations. For example, the audience empathy agent understands audience preferences and tailors the presentation for them.
  3. Company, team, and individual level files and context to create an unmatched degree of personalization, ensuring every presentation is tailored for maximum impact.

This level of contextual understanding makes Astrid the go-to presentation tool for close to 150 Fortune 2000 companies—and counting.

Building the future of enterprise communication

At Prezent, we’re not just building AI for productivity—we’re building AI for truly impactful communication at scale.

We believe every professional deserves the tools to communicate confidently and compellingly—without needing to hire a design agency or spend hours tweaking slides. Whether you're preparing for an executive presentation, a sales pitch, or a cross-functional strategy review, Astrid empowers your team to communicate more effectively and efficiently.

With Astrid, Prezent has become a complete solution for all enterprise presentation needs, offering both “do-it-yourself” Prezent AI software and “do-it-for-you” Expert Services.

Thank you to our incredible investors, customers, and team for your continued belief in our vision.

This is just the beginning.
