Role Overview
We’re hiring an Analytics Engineer who thrives in a high-ownership environment. You will own data pipelines, transformation logic, and business metrics end-to-end ensuring stakeholders have accurate, trusted data to make business decisions. This is a hands-on role requiring both strong technical ability and business partnership mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipelines & Reliability
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines that ingest data from databases and third-party tools into our warehouse.
- Ensure pipelines run reliably through monitoring, validation checks, and error handling.
- Maintain and improve an existing Python-based data pipeline codebase.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues proactively and minimize business impact.
Transformations & Business Metrics
- Own and manage SQL-based transformation workflows to create clean, business-ready datasets.
- Define, validate, and document key business metrics and KPI logic to ensure consistency and trust.
- Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to translate business questions into data solutions.
Data Warehouse & Governance
- Support warehouse performance and cost efficiency through query optimization and best practices.
- Manage access controls and contribute to strong data governance standards.
Reporting & Stakeholder Enablement
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting workflows using Tableau.
- Deliver actionable insights to business teams and proactively identify anomalies or data issues.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in analytics, data, or BI engineering.
- Advanced SQL and strong Python for building and maintaining ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Experience with data orchestration tools; Airflow experience strongly preferred.
- Track record of building reliable, scalable, production-grade data pipelines with strong observability and minimal downtime, including forecasting or ML-adjacent workflows.
- Strong dashboard design and executive reporting skills, delivering trusted, consistent business metrics.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Business-minded approach—operates as a trusted data partner to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with leadership and GTM teams.
